The official X account for Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has announced that they're running a promotion for 25% off WrestleMania 42 tickets until 16 February. That means fans can grab discounted seats for the April weekender until Monday evening by following the link included in their post.

This is clearly a drive from WWE and Allegiant to start filling the stadium up before 'Mania goes down on 18-19 April. At time of writing, WrestleMania has shifted approx 36,000 tickets per night with around 2 months to go before the event happens.

It's understood that this is a concern behind the scenes, because it's around 10,000 less (per night) than 'Mania 41 had sold by mid-February. WWE chiefs have even held crunch meetings with staff to try and galvanise the push towards this year's bumper weekender.

It'd be unfair to say there's widespread panic behind the scenes at WWE/TKO, but they are slightly worried that running WrestleMania in the same venue/city over consecutive years has been a stretch. Concurrent reports of the company stopping bars/restaurants from showing 'Mania within a 50 mile radius of the venue have also started popping up too, and that's been negatively received in and around Vegas.

It's worth noting that even knocking a full quarter off the price of admission won't stop WWE briefs from being expensive. Indeed, WWE/TKO's pricing structure over the past couple of years has priced many wrestling fans (especially families with young children) out of attending shows.

Will this be the first of several last-minute bids to bolster the 'Mania attendance? Only time will tell if it's that or a one off weekend deal, but it's certainly eye-catching nonetheless.
