In a move that ties in with his recent onscreen presentation, Kevin Owens has now been flipped to the babyface side of WWE's internal roster.

This is according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Although KO hasn't been a villain on television for a while now, the promotion still had him marked down as a heel until this week.

Owens is currently in the midst of a 'Prizefighter' renaissance, cutting intense, engaging promos on a near-weekly basis, having been positioned opposite some of WWE's top heels. Recently, he has been getting into it with the likes of The Bloodline and Money in the Bank winner Austin Theory.

A heel for the majority of his time in WWE, Owens has recently been linked to a full-on reunion with former tag team partner Sami Zayn, who is aligned with The Bloodline on SmackDown. The rumour mill points towards a Zayn/Owens tandem challenging The Usos for their Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships in the future.

For now, KO looks like one of the chief beneficiaries of Triple H's ascent to power, with the former NXT chief becoming WWE's creative lead in the wake of Vince McMahon's July resignation.
