WWE Payback 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Drew McIntyre Challenges Randy Orton To A 'Street Fight'

...a rematch between Drew and Randy.

SummerSlam's finish dropped heavy hints that they'd be working a follow-up. McIntyre won with a backslide pin instead of his Claymore Kick, and Orton didn't get to hit his trusty RKO either. WWE can scratch multiple itches here by booking a repeat at Payback and having Drew pitch a 'Street Fight' because of what Orton "did to Keith Lee".

McIntyre has been positioned as a virtuous locker room leader who loves fair competition. As a top babyface, he naturally wouldn't like to see someone as talented as Lee fall victim to Randy's viciousness, and he'd want to prove that he could knock Orton out with a Claymore to the jaw.

Their match last weekend was underrated too, and there's little doubts Orton and McIntyre could make the best of the 'No DQ' flavour. Randy is flying as a heel these days, but he's a big enough star to withstand a clean loss to the WWE Champion and still maintain his aura for other feuds.
