WWE Payback Preview & Predictions

WWE Championship: Ryback vs. John Cena

rya This will be contested in a Three Stages of Hell match. A best of three contest where each match is a different stipulation. The first will be a Lumberjack match, the second is a Tables match, and the third is an Ambulance match. You can guarantee that it will go three. The ambulance has become a huge factor in the fued, Ryback's entrance now incorporates it. I have to be honest, I have a hatred for Ryback that originates somewhere deep inside of me that I can't quite figure out. He really doesn't do anything to deserve such a hatred but such a hatred exists. On the other hand, to the disgust and dismay of all my wrestling fan friends, I happen to love John Cena. He gets an unfair shake from a majority of wrestling fans who don't understand all he does for the business. And while he may not be the greatest wrestler on earth his promos of late have been top notch. And the way he eviscerated Ryback on Raw this past Monday had me jumping for joy. Unfortunately for Ryback and fortunately for me he is probably going to lose another PPV match. WWE has done a bad job booking him, they've written themselves into corners with Ryback and he has suffered for it. Cena won't lose the title this quick after going so long without it. He'll thrown Ryback into the back of an ambulance to win the match. Winner: Cena

Conclusion

We've certainly been more excited for WWE pay per views in the past but for a second rate event I don't think it will be so bad. We'll probably get at least a couple title changes with the Divas belt and the Intercontinental belt. What's really important over the next few weeks is how the WWE moves forward from this event towards the summer months and gets ready for Money in the Bank and Summerslam. We are now almost out of the post Wrestlemania fog and into the exciting summer months where the action picks up again.
