WWE Poll: What SummerSlam Match Are You Most Excited About?

Is it the main event that you care about the most or something on the undercard?

This Sunday night WWE presents SummerSlam in Los Angeles and there's a lot of anticipation for the event. They've already announced the eight matches for the show, which is rare for WWE. Usually we know four or five matches and then they add a few more in the last week. It's nice to know they're more prepared this month. They're unlikely to add more to it although perhaps one more will be added for the Kickoff Show. What we want to know is what match are you most excited about at SummerSlam? The cool thing about the lineup is that WWE is offering up a variety of matches. A few of the matches have stipulations on them, there are two divas matches on the card (that's pretty rare) and the main event features two guys who weren't even on Raw at the same time in the last three weeks. A lot of times a main event match might win a poll like this although there are definitely some fans that don't care about John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar because we saw it two years ago at Extreme Rules and neither guy has been around enough to really sell the importance of the match. On the other hand, not being on TV has allowed the feud to breathe a bit. We're not seeing them brawl every week, so it has helped build up the anticipation for the match. If you're looking at a feud strictly based on its placement on television, it's Stephanie McMahon vs. Brie Bella that is the most featured match on the show. It's weird in the sense that it's a divas match, but with a McMahon involved it's no surprise either. They have been in the main event slot of Raw for the past two weeks. The crowd has reacted well to it because Stephanie is such a great heel. Brie is doing a good job of holding her own although Stephanie is definitely outshining her. The second biggest singles match involving the men is Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton. They've wrestled on live events dozens of times over the last few months and they've been a part of tags on TV, but it will be a big singles match for them at SummerSlam. It would be a surprise if Reigns didn't win since he's been booked so strongly this year. Then again, if they want to do a rematch at Night of Champions then Orton winning is a possibility? Last month we were told we were getting Rollins vs. Ambrose at Battleground, but it didn't happen. WWE decided to save their first televised match for SummerSlam. Much like Reigns/Orton, they've been working on live events for months so the chemistry they have should be great. It has the potential to steal the show although a Lumberjack setting might hurt it. A brawl around the arena would have helped them more, but that's probably coming at another PPV. The IC Title match sees The Miz defend against Dolph Ziggler. If you follow them on Twitter they've done a really good job of building the feud up. It's just a shame a lot of their television segments have been so short. Both are former World Champions that are back to where they were about five years ago. What's old is new again or so they say. Rounding out the card are three rematches from last month's Battleground PPV: Jericho/Wyatt, Rusev/Swagger and AJ/Paige. The change in Jericho/Wyatt is that Wyatt's buddies won't be at ringside. The change in Rusev/Swagger is that it's now a Flag Match, which will probably allow Swagger to win without pinning Rusev. For AJ/Paige the difference is that Paige is now a heel so hopefully there's a better crowd reaction to the match. Those are the matches. Now it's time for you to vote in the poll below and let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
