WWE has announced that WrestleMania 37 tickets will not go on sale today as originally planned.

Announcer Tom Phillips confirmed the news during last night's Raw, though he didn't state a new date. There's currently no word on why, exactly, WWE has opted to change the date.

Per Phillips' kayfabed explanation, WWE is still finalising its plans for the two-night event and expects to confirm the new on-sale date by the end of the week.

WWE has since issued the following statement on the matter (via Twitter):-

"#WrestleMania on-sale will be moved as plans for the two-night event are still being finalized. We expect a new on-sale date within the next week."

Last week saw WWE confirm that a "limited number" of WrestleMania 37 tickets would go on sale on Tuesday 16 March. Prices ranging between $35 and $2,500 were also announced, with the promotion supplying a registration link for any presales that may occur.

WWE had originally planned on welcoming a reported 25,000 to 30,000 fans into Raymond James Stadium for each of WrestleMania 37's two nights (10 and 11 April). As reported yesterday, this has now been upped to 45,000.
