4. The Women Of WWE

The NXT Women's Championship match was a display that women's wrestling is not dead in the WWE. It may not get as large of a focus any more but down at the Full Sail University it is still in full flow. An excellent match crowned a new champion in Charlotte, who shared a tearful celebration with her father, Ric Flair. The tears were all round after the contest, as her opponent Natalya also wept while congratulating the new champ. Bret may not have cracked, but his and Flair's presence also promoted how important the division can be. There is a renewed focus on the women's division on the standard WWE programming too. Alicia Fox's new crazy tantrum gimmick has revitalised her career as she challenges the talented new champion Paige tonight. Paige herself scored an impressively convincing win over Tamina Snuka on SmackDown despite distractions from Fox. Brie Bella's rivalry with Stephanie McMahon is also looking like it may head physical, and certainly provides her a stronger story basis than the Total Divas "bad painting" garbage from last week. Her predicament even took priority in her loss to Natalya on Main Event, rather than the previous painting feud.
