A very mixed week for the group, but overall they emerged stronger than nearly every week since their reunion. Despite losing a clean sweep at Payback, the group absolutely dominated the main event war. Dominating such a good match is an undeniable display of power. Their loss looked to have destroyed the group, as they imploded with Batista quitting WWE in the opening segment of Raw. But it was this that led to motivating the group to 'evolve.' Instead of perishing, Evolution rose from the ashes and grew stronger. Randy Orton announced fearlessly that he would face Roman Reigns in the main event. The match didn't actually actually take place though, thanks to Triple H's "Plan B" seeing Rollins destroy his fellow Shield members, before Orton followed suit. On SmackDown the united group were responsible for defeating Dolph Ziggler and then a beating to The Big Show. Orton faced Big Show in the main event, but just as the giant appeared to have Orton and Triple H in his grasp, Rollins made the save and the trio left him lying.
