1. Sheamus

Seeing off two men in succession is no small feat. Especially impressive given that it was in two pretty good matches and with the crowd finally behind him. Ironic given the rumoured heel turn. The story was that Sheamus didn€™t know which man he€™d face because they did a coin toss but either way Ryback€™s challenge was spontaneous, and Sheamus overcame both. RybAxel have been on a run recently as well, so the double win is a lot more meaningful than it would€™ve been a month ago. Sheamus also went on to the feature contest of Wednesday€™s Main Event show, facing off against Cesaro. Their two styles continue to work well together and despite lasting over ten minutes, this felt like another preview to a bigger match somewhere in the future. The draw helped that sentiment and also protected both men. Sheamus€™s resurgence continued with a quick win over Titus O€™Neill on SmackDown. Somehow his past two weeks have got him to the point that he may not need a heel turn to be relevant, even though his character does desperately need it.
