It was a rather unique week for the Irishman, who found his divisive crowd reactions also followed him across the pond where he would be expected to be more popular from a home crowd of sorts. He found himself against the crowd on Raw when he faced off against the Swiss Superman, Cesaro. The match was a good one and Sheamus was only defeated due to some chicanery from Cesaro's advocate Paul Heyman causing a big enough distraction for him fall victim to Cesaro's increasingly dangerous German Suplex. On SmackDown Sheamus had more support from the London crowd, possibly due to going up against Alberto Del Rio. Neither man have a huge crowd investment at the moment due to very stale characters but it was Sheamus who managed to get the crowd behind him for his disqualification win.
