It started on March 27, 1988 and lasted over year by going for 478 days. A tag team should enter the WWE Hall of Fame every year. It's not always the case, but it would be nice to see because it's a way to honor tag teams of the past by telling the fans that it's really important to have successful teams in the wrestling business. The tag team that deserves it the most this year is Demolition. There were three members of the team at times, but if they get inducted it should be the original team of Ax and Smash that gets in there. With all due respect to the late Crush, it's Ax and Smash that really put the team on the map. In addition to the longest tag team title reign in WWE history, which goes back over 40 years, they had two other reigns as well. Wrestling fans that were watching in the 1980s and early 1990s will always remember due to their intimidating look with an entrance mask, face paint and leather vests. They stood out from the pack because of it. The fact that they won multiple titles on the also proved that they made a significant impact as well. It would be wonderful to see Demolition rewarded for their success by being inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
