WWE President Nick Khan's TKO Contract Expires Later This Year (WWE News)

Nick Khan's contract doesn't have too much time left on it. Other WWE deals ticking down!

Fightful Select is reporting that current WWE President and member of the TKO board Nick Khan's "employment contract" is set to run out at the end of the year. The website didn't go into details on a possible extension for Khan, or on any fresh terms offered from the WWE/TKO side, but this will grab some attention due to Nick's lofty status in the company hierarchy.

Khan is one of the most important individuals in the entire organisation. He joined WWE in August 2020 as President and Chief Revenue Officer (reporting directly to Vince McMahon and working under other members of management such as George Barrios and Michelle Wilson). In 2022, Khan's duties expanded to include CEO status, and he's been considered a crucial part of the WWE management structure by fans ever since.

It's interesting that he's been named as someone with a lapsing contract, especially considering Fightful's report that it's due by the end of 2025. Of course, there's still time both parties to sit down and thrash out a fresh deal during negotiations, if they haven't done so already. That's all guesswork at time of writing though.

Fightful also reported that both The Miz and Dragon Lee "have deals coming up at the end of the year unless they've been extended". Again, there's a chance WWE has come to terms with both wrestlers quietly and something will be announced in due course, but nothing has been officially confirmed.

Miz has been with the company since 2004 and is considered part of WWE's furniture. The tenured star recently returned to TV and rebooted his 'Melo Don't Miz' tag-team with rising ex-NXT man Carmelo Hayes on the 8 August edition of SmackDown. It's unclear whether or not the creative team will keep running with that or split the pair long term.

Meanwhile, Dragon Lee has been part of WWE's system since signing on in late-2022/early-2023. Initially appearing via NXT, Lee was quickly moved up to the main roster to eventually become a part of the LWO faction. He's been used rather sparingly on programming ever since.

Stay tuned for further updates on WWE contract extensions for Khan, Miz and Lee if and when they flood in.
