WWE Quiz: How Well Do You Remember The Women's Revolution?
#GiveThisQuizAChance
WWE's first ever female exclusive pay-per-view, Evolution, was sensationally announced this week on Monday Night RAW by commissioner Stephanie McMahon as taking place in Uniondale, New York on 28th October.
Streamed live on the WWE Network, it will feature championship matches from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and NXT UK, as well as the Mae Young Classic 2018 finals. Over 50 WWE women past and present will be involved, with Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita set to appear.
The historic announcement is emblematic of just how far women's wrestling has come in WWE over the past few years; gone are the blink-and-you-miss-it matches of old which spawned the hashtag #GiveDivasAChance and sparked the revolution, replaced by the likes of the Four Horsewomen putting on match of the night contenders & stealing the show instead.
WWE's Women's Revolution began in 2015 and has seen female performers participating in their own Royal Rumble matches, main eventing pay-per-views, and generally making history. However, just how much do you know about the groundbreaking movement which finally saw women given a chance?
