WWE: Ranking The 16 Elimination Chamber Matches

7. The "HBK Costs Taker" Chamber (Elimination Chamber '10)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIJkxUPFJR8 Both in kayfabe and reality, Taker got burned at Elimination Chamber 2010. First, the almost universally flawless electronic and pyrotechnic wizards employed by the WWE messed up The Phenom's entrance flames, causing a burst right into Taker's path and literally searing The Deadman's chest. Ouch. Though he then proceeded to work a great match alongside John Morrison, CM Punk (who nearly stole the show with his performance), Rey Mysterio, and Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels came in from underneath the ring and blasted Taker with Sweet Chin Music. A three count later and Jericho was the new World Heavyweight Champion, setting up the awesome Streak vs. Career match that ended HBK's 25 year WWE wrestling tenure. This one flies under the radar, historically. Five of the guys involved had standout performances (R-Truth was the six participant and added little of value to the match). Punk added a unique touch of flair to the bout by finishing the promo that he had started on the way to the ring before Truth's music interrupted him. He quickly eliminated Truth and completed his thought while waiting for the next entrant. The entire match was booked a little differently from its peers, with two eliminations before the ten minute mark of the match signaled the second addition from the two starting wrestlers. It also marked the first and only time that a non-participating star has entered the Chamber from underneath the structure.
