Back to in-ring matters with this one, in the form of an off-hand remark from the quick-witted mind of the loquacious Kevin Owens.

Owens was in action against Rusev, Cesaro, and a debuting Finn Balor in what was labelled as a Fatal Four Way. However, judging from the opening few minutes, you’d have been forgiven for mistaking this for a tag team bout. That’s because Owens and Rusev were unashamedly working in cahoots with one another to take out their babyface opponents.

Their alliance wavered, though, when Rusev went for a cover on Cesaro, thus breaking the rules of their ungentlemanly agreement.

“Come on, I’m right here,” Owens reminded Rusev in a disbelieving tone, like a parent who’d just caught a child red-handed. Or, as in this case, had just caught an opponent trying to sneak the victory.

It was the kind of comment that Owens delivers so well; comedic enough to get a chuckle or two, but still serious enough to add to the story of the match.

Clearly there were no hard feelings here, though, as Owens continued directing traffic before the two switched their attentions to Balor.
