WWE Raw: 10 Things You May Have Missed (Dec 12)

1. The New Day Were Almost Screwed By Management

At the start of Raw, The New Day beat The Club and the still-unlikely duo of Sheamus and Cesaro to retain their Raw Tag-Team Titles. As they celebrated on the entrance ramp, a graphic was shown declaring that New Day were the new record holders for those belts. That was jumping the gun.

It made sense that a vindictive Stephanie McMahon would want to stick it to the champions and book them in another title match for Raw's main event slot. However, it makes less sense that Mick Foley would add to that problem by putting Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in the match too.

When they should have been congratulated for their achievements, The New Day were very nearly screwed by management who are supposed to support them. Surely McMahon and Foley should have been more concerned with the fact that New Day had created true history on their brand, rather than trying to undermine them?

Worse, the babyface General Manager got in on the act and nonsensically almost ruined one of the biggest things to happen on Raw since the WWE Draft.
