WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Aug 8)
3. The Live Crowd Rebelling On WWE's Babyfaces
WWE's writers have their work cut out for them to rescue both Bayley and Jason Jordan from disaster on Raw, because neither performer is getting the desired reaction from fans. Jordan's issues are ongoing, but did anyone else notice the scathing response to Bayley's 'feel sorry for me, please' promo in-ring on Monday night?
The live crowd rebelled badly on the babyface's plea for sympathy after injury ruled her out of the Raw Women's Title picture at SummerSlam. People weren't sympathetic at all to Bayley's plight, jeering her as she was forced to acknowledge the boos and struggle to save her promo. Even Charly Caruso looked sorry for the babyface.
This is what happens when babyfaces are booked so poorly though. Bayley peaked months ago as a sympathetic figure, and she's too one-note to be effective in an era when heels like Braun Strowman are popular because they show aggression and no regard for rules.
