9. WWE Doesn't Know What They've Got In The New Day
It's not news that WWE is out of touch when it comes to their talent, but just how off-the-ball the company can be is scary at times. During a backstage cutaway where The Dudley Boyz sought to add themselves to a tables match between The Usos and The New Day, Bubba Ray pleaded his case passionately, telling The Usos, "We hate The New Day, you hate The New Day, the fans sure as hell hate The New Day!" The problem with that line, of course, is that the fans don't hate The New Day - they're one of the only consistently entertaining parts of WWE programming, and as such, they're given huge ovations by live audiences. As could be expected, the fans in attendance booed that line. Do WWE's writers think that the fans really do hate The New Day? Or did they think it was okay to script a line for a babyface that would be roundly booed? Either way, someone's judgment is way off.
