WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (July 24)

1. Fans Getting Excited Over The Idea Of Strowman vs. Joe

The opening segment of Raw moved quicker than these 'everyone has something to say' in-ring skits usually do. Everybody involved kept their words short and sweet, and the emphasis was more on physical violence than rambling verbiage that has everyone reaching for the fast forward button.

Braun Strowman nearly killing a poor security guard by hurtling him over the top rope has already become a popular Twitter gif, but such wanton destruction masked one of the segment's other highlights. For the briefest of moments, it looked like WWE were going to give us Samoa Joe vs. Strowman, and that'd just be awesome.

Fans in Washington started to bubble with excitement when Joe squared up to Braun, only for Roman Reigns to interrupt and completely change the atmosphere. You may not have noticed it at first glance, but there was electricity in the air between Joe and Strowman.

Keep that match on ice, WWE.
