9. Mick Foley Poking Fun At Daniel Bryan's Size
There's a strange vibe between Mick Foley and Daniel Bryan on television these days. Behind the scenes, it's likely that Bryan has tremendous respect for everything Foley has accomplished. Via his social media accounts (more so on Facebook), Mick has praised Bryan for over-achieving in WWE.
On TV, the pair seem to relish poking fun at the other man. That continued on this week's Raw, Foley had a boyish grin when running down Bryan's lack of physical size to Stephanie McMahon. This wasn't done over the microphone, and it would have been easy to gloss over for fans not listening intently.
Stephanie announced that both Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan would be appearing on Raw in person. Before she could utter Bryan's name, Steph sniggered as Foley asked if Shane was 'bringing that little fella' with him'. Of course, this was a reference to Daniel Bryan's relatively diminutive frame compared to some of WWE's big hitters over the years.
Throwaway or not, this continued the ongoing tension Foley and Bryan exhibit whenever they are in one another's company on television.
