Charlotte was the first to capture the then-WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 32 on April 3, 2016. On July 25, Sasha Banks then won the belt in Pittsburgh live on Monday Night Raw. That was the first post-WWE Draft episode of the show. It also wasn't the last change Raw would see.

At SummerSlam on August 21, Charlotte regained the gold, all before dropping it back to Banks on the October 3 edition of Raw. Less than a month later, Charlotte beat Sasha inside Hell In A Cell (on the pay-per-view of the same name) on October 30. Less than a full month after that, Banks is once again champion.

Hell In A Cell took place in Sasha's hometown of Boston. The latest Raw was hosted by Charlotte, North Carolina. Of course, this is Charlotte Flair's hometown. This also means that both women have lost the Raw Women's Title in their home cities.

On top of that, both title changes have occurred in the same 30-day period. There's surely no way that's coincidental on WWE's part.
