WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (Oct 9)

3. The Blame Game

Critics often argue that WWE haven't got a bloody clue what they're doing, but it seemed literally the case this week as the company presented a woeful five way elimination match to determine just who would face Asuka in her Tables, Ladders and Chairs debut.

Ahead of a break in action, Bayley polished off Dana Brooke, leading Michael Cole to incorrectly announce her as the winner. 'Apparently I had my rules mixed up, this is an elimination match' atoned Cole as the match progressed, whilst all three used the disgraceful Bray Wyatt segment as an escape hatch for their errors!

Soundtracked to atrocious announcing throughout, it was one of Raw's worst matches of the year. A spooky interaction between the commentators even foreshadowed it as Brooke entered. The trio's exchange went as follows:

Graves: Sister Abigail was so freaky it turned Dana Brooke's hair grey.

Booker: (after a gap of a million years) That was funny.

Cole: (Bewildered) Glad you approve Book.

It was regrettably a sign of things to come.
