WWE Raw 1000th Episode: 10 Atttiude Era Stars Who Should Appear

1) Stone Cold Steve Austin

Who did you think was going to be #1? John Laurinitis? There can be nobody else in this slot. Who has done more for the WWE and RAW's name than this man? Not even Dwayne The Rock Johnson. He's one of the all time greats. He never had superb athletic ability, never was the fastest, the biggest or the strongest, but he managed to put on some of the best matches in RAW and WWE history. He understands the crowd and can adapt the tempo of a match on the fly. There is nobody like him and there never will be. Chance of Appearance: 85% (The WWE would be foolish to not book him)

Notable Omissions

A.K.A - People we nearly put on the list... D-Lo Brown: The man was never quite the same after accidentally paralyzing Droz. Had a great run for a while in 1998/1999, but not charismatic enough to make the list and modern fans wouldn't care to see him. Savio Vega: A good worker, who always seemed to be involved. Seemed to have an endless feud with Steve Austin, which counts for something with me. He was also the first man to get the Stunner! Only problem is I can't even remember if I saw him cut a promo, maybe he had no voice? Carlito (Caribbean Cool): Always liked this guy, but spent more time on Smackdown than Raw. Cut a great promo, and was a good worker. Unlucky to not make the list. Scott Hall (Razor Ramon): Only if he was Razor, not Scott Hall. Unfortunately, his health and his harrowing battle with addiction means this is only a pipe dream, but I had to mention him. Eugene: Nick Dinsmore was a great worker, but under the Eugene gimmick he was a Farrelly Brother's Character trapped in the world of pro-wrestling. It's a strange idea. Sycho Sid: For a man dubbed as psychotic, in reality he wasn't all that bad. Has seemed to have a trouble free life after wrestling (how refreshing), and for that reason alone, would be nice to see him come back. A special match with Vader would go down well! Ken Shamrock: I tried, I tried so hard to get him on the list. Personally, I used to love Shamrock's no frills approach. He wasn't great on the mic, but he made it look like he was killing people in the ring. If I could get a Shamrock vs Blackman match at RAW 1000, I would go to bed happy that night. The Lethal Weapon Steve Blackman: For the reasons above. I thought he was great. Remember head cheese? Remember the battles with Shane-O-Mac? Did I mention head-cheese? The JOB Squad: Loved to watch these guys, even in the innocent time before I knew what a Jobber was. Bring back Al Snow I tells yeah!
