Q is for The Quebecers

The Quebecers were one of our favourite tag teams back in the day. They consisted of the man formerly known as The Mountie, Jaques Rougeau and Pierre (Carl Ouellet) who later became an eye patch wearing Pirate. Despite their attire the two Canadian heels claimed "We're not The Mounties" in their theme tune and were regularly accompanied to the ring by their flamboyant manager Johnny Polo - who later became known as Raven in ECW.

The Quebecers frequently appeared on RAW as 3 time Tag Champions until they were defeated by The Headshrinkers in 1994 and fell out. The Quebecers are a throw back to the days when WWE still held the tag division in high esteem, something they really need to start doing with their current product before tag wrestling becomes a lost art.
