After a spectacular conclusion of this past RAW, two new champions have been crowned! The first title change came about when The Miz and Wade Barrett fought in a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental championship. The Miz having won the title in a Wrestlemania pre-show was expected to defend his championship due to the rematch clause. They engaged in a lengthy match, but Wade Barrett would knock Miz out with his finishing elbow and regain the title. He is now a three-time Intercontinental champion. The second came from Dolph Ziggler, who finally cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio suffering onscreen a knee injury, was able to win a handicap match against Zeb Coulter and Jack Swagger. As the EMTs made their way to provide Del Rio medical support, Dolph Zigglers would make a surprise entrance as his music hit. The much to the delight of the fans, who were chanting his name throughout the whole show, would greet his arrival with a thunderous roar. The defending champion was then forced back into action as Ziggler cashed in his briefcase. Fighting valiantly with an injured knee, he was no match for Dolph Ziggler who hit his finisher, Zig Zag, to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. This makes him a two-time Heavyweight champion, however Ziggler may argue that this is his first proper run as champion, seeing his first title reign lasted a disgraceful 11 minutes and 23 seconds.
