WWE RAW 4/7/2014 Review: 5 Things We Learned

1. The Future Of The WWE Has Arrived

It's time for us, as wrestling fans, to let go of the past. Gone are the legends of the past 2 decades, and never was that more evident than at Wrestlemania XXX with both the ceremonial closing of an era that opened the show between the Immortal Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and The Rock, and the end of The Undertaker's winning Streak. What we have right now with WWE is more than a YES Movement, more than John Cena increasing the viability of younger stars by working with them week in and week out, and more than we can all honestly imagine. There is a changing of the entire guard upon us. The Attitude Era is now long past, the PG Era is quickly becoming a true memory - and the arrival of the new generation of stars is finally here. The truly promising NXT class has now taken hold of the WWE. By simple headcount we could see this has come to fruition over a matter of years right before our eyes: Sheamus, AJ Lee, Cesaro, Big E, Summer Rae, Emma, Paige, The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Fandango, and Daniel Bryan are all the most recognizable faces among an even larger group of talent that are finally coming into their own. The next generation of WWE Superstars have arrived: The Uso's are your WWE Tag Team Champions, Paige is your WWE Divas Champion, Big E Langston is your WWE Intercontinental Champion, and Daniel bryan is now your WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The future is now, kids, and it looks fantastic. Fans, are you ready for the future? Can you let go of the past - what we grew up on - and embrace this revolutionary change that is upon us? SOund off in our COMMENTS section, and find me on Twitter so we can discuss further! @davyshrader
