2. Vickie Guerrero Gets Fired and Brad Maddox Gets Hired

It didn't take an entire 25+ minutes of Vickie TV time to let us know she was going to be fired. Vickie opened the RAW broadcast reminding us all what she's done during her tenure, and then climbing a ladder in a fitting analogy to her RAW GM career. Then we had another segment later on featuring the McMahon's deciding her fate as GM. Again, overall an unnecessary segment to let Vickie go, and nearly 30 total minutes of RAW television time wasted; then again, how do we expect them to fill 3+ hours every week? With all this said, the McMahon family segment was interesting for two reasons: firstly, Steph can still cut a convincing promo when she wants to, and she did so last night during her time in the ring; and secondly, any chance to see Triple H slightly break character and make fun of something as silly as this GM situation is always fun television. In the end, Brad Maddox gets hired, which was a call I had made in my mind prior to the show going live despite not even being interested in the GM angle at all.
