WWE RAW 9/23/2013 Review: 5 Things We Learned

4. Tag Team Wrestling Finally Returns To The WWE

After months of being missing in action, legitimate, old-school, 2-on-2 tag team wrestling has finally returned to weekly WWE programming. For far too long we, as fans, have been robbed of what used to be a classic wrestling staple in nightly performances. We've seen hints of tag action with 2 of the 3 Shield members being the champions, but for far too long now they have yet to really be involved in anything other than doing HHH and Stephanie's bidding (which completely works, from a story standpoint, by the way). But we are starting to see a real push for these teams that have been Main Event and SmackDown staples for so long: The Uso's, The Primetime Players, and next week: the debut of Los Matadores. As a lifelong fan of wrestling, I am happy to see WWE putting time back into their tag division, and I hope it pays dividends in both the immediate and long term future.
