WWE Raw Gallery: 25 Years Of Iconic Monday Nights

18. 2000 - Everything's Bigger In Texas

The Rock CM Punk
WWE

Dateline: 7th February, 2000

Perhaps the best on-screen representation of a product that could do no wrong, the ten-man tag that main evented a white hot Dallas edition of Raw was a rare occasion where the hyperbole genuinely couldn't match the reality unfolding.

WCW escapees Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko probably couldn't believe their luck. The trio (alongside injured Eddie Guerrero) joined forces with Triple H and X-Pac to take out Cactus Jack and his volunteer partners The Rock, Rikishi and Too Cool in a feast of crowd-pleasing chaos.

The freshness of the formerly-downtrodden WCW stars and WWE midcarders in an intoxicating main event burst through the screen as the wrestlers themselves seemed to radiate as much excitement for the contest as the exuberant Texan crowd.
