WWE RAW Review: 5 Things We Learned (May 26th)

5. Bray Wyatt & John Cena Finally Hook Us

The feud between John Cena and Bray Wyatt has been all over the map, and if you read this column on a somewhat regular basis, then you know how I feel about Wyatt and his recent mic work. With that said, this week on RAW he sold me on his mission against John Cena, and in turn Cena hooked us all by making us believe that he finally has something to prove by stopping Bray Wyatt. WWE did a great job building the final hype for this match by having The Uso's make the run-in assist at the end of the segment, which made the entire bit feel old-school in a way that has us all ready for the payoff. And boy did the Wyatt Family go full-on heel to set up this weekend's payoff! http://youtu.be/HfyA5KDaMss And it is time for that payoff. This has been a nice program for Bray Wyatt overall, working with John Cena has allowed him to not only tighten up his promo work, for the most part, but also tweak that ring performance with an established veteran. As this program comes to a close, look for a great outing from these two at Payback this weekend, with Cena taking the win and allowing both men to move on to other programs prior to the next PPV, which is Money In The Bank.
