WWE RAW Review: Real Life Tragedy Fuels Wrestlemania Feud

SETH ROLLINS VS THE BIG SHOW I guess The Big Show has looked through his €œIron Clad Contract€ and decided that it€™s so Iron Clad that he can be a face again. I hate it when wrestlers turn face or heel with no build-up. The last time there was a legit face turn that the fans were waiting for; it was Randy Orton after he punted Legacy at Wrestlemania a few years ago. The Miz turning face recently was ok, but no one was really clamoring to cheer for face-Miz. When I said I wanted members of the SHIELD to start getting one-on-one matches, I did not want them to get ham-fisted in the head by The Big Show. Seth Rollins was set to take on The Big Show but the match turned into a SHIELD beat down after about a minute. At least let Rollins get one of his oh-so-nice Tyler Black moves in before the SHIELD has to help him. It€™s like the WWE doesn€™t want any of them to shine on their own and instead clump them all together. Name one move that an individual member of the SHIELD has that isn€™t Roman Reign€™s spear. Exactly. They aren€™t their own people. If you put them in matches, let them do something. I get that they are setting up some sort of tag-match for Wrestlemania against the Super Friends, but at least give us some indication that Seth Rollins can 450 Splash with the best of them. DOLPH ZIGGLER VS DANIEL BRYAN Ziggler wins this match. He wins. Sure, it€™s by dubious means, but dammit, he won. On RAW. It happened. I was super happy to see Ziggler get a win on RAW after watching him get destroyed by the who€™s who of the WWE for the past month and a half. Ziggler and Bryan had a great match. It goes to show that when you aren€™t having him fumble around the ring with a sack on his head, Daniel Bryan is one of the most entertaining (and talented) wrestlers in the world. If the WWE wasn€™t so concerned with merchandise sales and creating stars, they would see the potential for a Bryan/Ziggler feud down the road. Both guys are young, extremely talented, and have a very bright future. This match had great offense for both guys. I really enjoyed the inclusion of AJ and Big E Langston as well. Also, kudos to the WWE for remembering that D-Bry and AJ have a history together. That is something they easily could have six-month ruled and swept away forever. I would have liked to have seen that play a bigger part in the match but hey, what can you do? Overall, this was probably the best all around wrestling match of the night. And Dolph Ziggler won. Feels good to type that.
