Having recently turned heel by attacking former partner Roxanne Perez, it looks as if Cora Jade has opted to pay out for some hired muscle.

Last night's NXT live event from Cocoa Beach, Florida's Cocoa Armory, Jade came to the ring with Commander Azeez at her side. There, the two lost in tag team action against Ivy Nile and Sanga. It's worth noting that Azeez is sporting a different look to the last time we saw him on WWE Raw. As part of this freshen-up, the 6'9" powerhouse has a full beard and darker attire.

Of course, prior to this, Commander Azeez worked as the bodyguard of Apollo Crews on both SmackDown and later Raw. While Apollo is nowadays back in NXT, it appears that his former corner man is likewise heading to the vibrant 2.0 confines of the WWE Performance Center setting.

The real-life Babatunde Lukasz Aiyegbusi has been with WWE since 2016. Prior to that, he had a brief spell with the Minnesota Vikings after playing in the Polish American Football League and the German Football League. Under the Babatunde name, the former offensive tackle made his WWE TV debut at the Greatest Royal Rumble PPV in 2018. By 2020, he would resurface as Dabba-Kato on the ill-fated Raw Underground, before joining up with Apollo Crews - as Commander Azeez - on Night 2 of WrestleMania 37.
