As WWE finds itself on the patented Road to WrestleMania, one superstar who could be undergoing a tweak in character is Lyra Valkyria.

Per Bodyslam+, there have been talks on making a change to Valkyria's on-screen persona, with that change being to make the former Women's Intercontinental Champion more aggressive and unhappy that she and Bayley are being overlooked.

Lyra and Bayley have been teaming together for a year or so by this point, having initially come together ahead of WrestleMania 41, where they were scheduled to challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the Women's Tag Team Titles. Storyline-wise, Bayley would be attacked before that match, leaving Valkyria to turn to the returning Becky Lynch as her surprise partner at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Since then, the Women's Tag Team Championships went immediately back to the Judgment Day on the Raw after 'Mania 41, then to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, then to the Kabuki Warriors, and are now held by the Rhiyo tandem of Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Giulia and Kiana James, and Nia Jax and Lash Legend have also been in the mix with title shots recently, though the Lyra Valkyria and Bayley team has only wrestled one televised match together so far this year.

This latest report would seem to indicate that Lyra and Bayley will become a more featured act going forward, though that remains to be seen. Most recently, the two have largely been in singles action, both coming up short in their efforts to qualify for the eponymous women's match at next weekend's Elimination Chamber.
