As could have been reasonably predicted, last night's episode of Monday Night Raw suffered a dramatic drop in viewership following last week's all-out, ratings-grabbing Reunion special.

The show, which concluded with the dramatic 'Samoan Summit' between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe, drew an average of 2.321 million viewers throughout (Source: Showbuzz Daily).

The figure marks a huge 25% decrease from last Monday. 3.093 million sets of eyes watched the nostalgia-fuelled special a week ago, which featured cameos from Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

The number is also lower than the post-Extreme Rules episode of Raw. The upshot of this is that the rating-popping edition did absolutely nothing to inspired interest in the current product amongst those who clicked on to see the old timers.

Obviously, the show saw a drop from last week across every hour, with 200,000 lost viewers between hour one and hour three.

Last night's episode was said to be the most Paul heyman-influenced since the former ECW honcho took up the role of Raw's Executive Director. The content and tone was a far cry from the slop served up seven days prior; one feels WWE missed a trick delaying his extensive involvement a week.
