WWE yesterday released never-before-seen teaser footage from Fighting With My Family, an upcoming movie based on the life and career of Paige.
The video, introduced by the Monday Night Raw star herself, features a scene acted by Florence Pugh (playing Paige), Jack Lowden (her brother, Zac) and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (as himself). In it, the latter gives a timely pep talk to the two siblings as they prepare for their WWE try-outs.
Announced more than a year ago, Fighting With My Family will finally hit theatres in the United States this September. It is a collaborative production partly funded by WWE Films, with the aforementioned Johnson claiming an executive producer credit in addition to his fleeting role in front of the camera.
Aside from the above, the movie will also star Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey and Nick Frost in the role of Paige's parents, with current NXT star Thea Trinidad - aka Zelina Vega - playing the now-retired AJ Lee. It is directed by Stephen Merchant, who also adapted the screenplay from a 2012 Channel 4 documentary of the same name.
