WWE Reports Zack Ryder Was Seriously Injured By Kane

WWE's official website reports that United States Champion Zack Ryder was seriously injured by "The Big Red Machine" Kane during Monday night's Raw SuperShow. If you recall, Kane choke slammed Ryder of an elevated parking lot at the climax of the show. Written in a storyline fashion, the article says doctors are examining and evaluating Ryder at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California as he recovers from the injuries he has suffered and that they don't think he will be able to defend his title on next week's Raw. It had been announced that Zack Ryder would defend the title against Jack Swagger next week. This is likely to be a worked storyline and not a legitimate injury for Ryder and it's not really the kind of real news we really talk about but in this insistence we have made an exception because it does hint to where the storyline will go on Monday's show and has put the previously announced match against Swagger in doubt.
