WWE Reveals Steve Austin's Next 'Broken Skull Sessions' Guest

"Next" is a fitting word for 'Stone Cold's next WWE guest (it's not Goldberg)!

Reigning WWE Champion Bobby Lashley will be the next guest on Steve Austin's popular 'Broken Skull Sessions' show.

The promotion broke this news during a rundown of content coming to the WWE Network/Peacock later this month. Lashley will sit down with 'Stone Cold' this coming Sunday (15 August). That's less than one week before his SummerSlam title defence opposite Bill Goldberg on 21 August.

Could it be Bobby's final major media appearance as the champ? Don't rule it out.

Regular 'Broken Skull Sessions' viewers will know that Austin's best interviews have a nostalgic flavour. Chats with Ric Flair, Goldberg himself, Chris Jericho and Kevin Nash have been smash hits, whereas more modern takes from Sasha Banks, Bayley and Drew McIntyre haven't been quite as interesting.

Still fun, but not quite as fun as the retro stuff.

Lashley's interview is likely to fall into the latter category. Here's hoping he drops his TV persona completely and doesn't try to come across as some big-leaguing champion. That won't work for Austin, and it won't work for the show.

This must be a deep-dive on Bob's real rise up through the ranks.
