WWE Rich List: 10 Biggest Fortunes In Wrestling

9. Mick Foley - $15 million

mick-foley Notoriously thrifty, Mick Foley was staying in cheap motels at the same time as being WWF Champion. He has saved and invested his WWE earnings very effectively, and stayed busy working in writing, stand up comedy and acting. Foley's peak wrestling years came from 1998 to 2000 when he was a key Attitude Era star as Mankind. Vince McMahon booked Foley in several main events, and also used Foley's Mankind character as a key commercial point. Foley enjoyed solid merchandise sales thanks to the appeal of his Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack characters. His debut as an author led to the establishment of Foley as a key WWF brand, his 1999 memoir 'Have a nice day' was a critical and commercial success. The following year Foley retired from full time wrestling after he main evented Wrestlemania 2000. Foley had hit his peak, but had done so in a blaze of high earning main events and merchandise sales. For the next decade Foley would make sporadic WWE returns, occasionally in high profile matches. He would also have a run with TNA and was published as an author again - but to limited success. He is currently touring as a stand up act. He made the most of the good times and has saved a fortune of $15 million.
