Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E are very much over with the core WWE fan base. Put it this way, top heels don't unveil cereal box covers of themselves, or have quite so much interaction as The New Day do with fans. There's a harmless, fun-loving quality to them, and fans can't get enough.

There's a reason the group were chosen to go out first and warm up the crowd as Roadblock hit the air on the WWE Network. The trio are infinitely entertaining, energetic and popular with the audience. They're not villains at all, despite their occasional arrogance.

Instead, they're buffon-like good guys. The people in the crowd enjoy laughing both at and along with them, even when they're being a little full on. There's no way back, WWE can't try and cast them as easy-to-hate heels any time in the near future. At WrestleMania, their victory would be greeted with cheers, which means they are officially fully-fledged babyfaces.
