WWE Roadblock: 5 Guarantees & 5 Possible Surprises
Could Dean Ambrose really become WWE champion?
The next stop on the Road to WrestleMania comes this Saturday, and in a welcome change of pace from recent shows, WWE Roadblock appears as though its going to be one hell of an event. March to WrestleMania was first planned in the same mould as 2015s WWE Network specials The Beast in the East and Live from Madison Square Garden. However, the events leading up the aptly renamed Roadblock because Vince McMahon loves his driving references more than he likes oiled-up, muscular men in tiny underpants provide enough reason to believe some pretty hefty shiz is about to go down. What was once little more than a glorified house show has quickly become an impromptu pay-per-view-like event featuring high profile contests, capped off with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between Triple H and Dean Ambrose. Though the impending results of the event appear to be generally predictable considering the Show of Shows card is mostly set in stone, WWE proved it is willing to throw a late curveball by having Seth Rollins cash in Money in the Bank during last years WrestleMania main event. Roadblock could just be a way for WWE to bolster its campaign for WWE Network subscriptions, or it may even serve as a simple apology for the utter shitshow disguised as a professional wrestling event that was Fastlane. Or maybe the event has been manufactured for WWE to make some major last-minute changes to WrestleMania 32. These are five things that are guaranteed and five possible surprises for WWE Roadblock.
