1. WWE World Heavyweight Title: Triple H (c) vs. Dean Ambrose
Result: Triple H defeats Ambrose with the Pedigree (24:43). Rating: Trips and Ambrose had to work with a fairly non-compliant crowd who kept chanting for CM Punk, but nevertheless put on a solid bout and managed to engage the audience for the most part. This was an entertaining slug-fest that benefited from going all over the place and allowing both men to come out of the match looking strong. However, the false finish with Ambrose's feet being under the bottom rope was annoying as hell given that it's already happened before, and the sudden Pedigree ending felt like a lazy, odd way to end an otherwise fun bout. We all knew Trips had to win, but couldn't help getting our hopes up for Ambrose anyway. Trips looked in terrific shape ahead of Mania, and Ambrose comes out looking pretty strong ahead of his match against Brock.
