It's a little bizarre that by the time Triple H faced Dean Ambrose to decide the Royal Rumble winner, both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns had been eliminated. Lesnar's beef with The Wyatt Family looks set to continue, but the undoubted star elimination came when 'The Game' toppled Reigns over the top rope to the floor. Fans were understandably open-mouthed when Roman - then the WWE Champion - landed in a heap by the ringside barricades. It was a huge moment, one which stifled booing that had started to surface when Reigns made his way back into the match. Moments and eliminations such as this are what the Rumble is all about, and it worked a real treat. From here, Reigns now has motivation to redeem himself against Triple H at WrestleMania. It seems this was the plan all along, which papers over the cracks in the fact that there have been 4 different WWE World Heavyweight Champions (including Seth Rollins) since November.
