Then: Haku (as Meng) won WCW's Hardcore Title on the promotion's 14 January 2001 Sin pay-per-view. One week later, he ran out as a late surprise entrant in the '01 Rumble for the WWF, and nobody saw it coming. The veteran then formed a tag-team with Rikishi before leaving the company again in 2002.

Now: He's still one of the hardest men in the world. Probably.

Haku is 61 and retired, but his sons Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga are the current IWGP Tag-Team Champions over in New Japan. Daddy dearest has made a string of appearance for NJPW himself over the past five years or so.
