WWE Royal Rumble 2011 Roster: Where Are They Now?

35. William Regal

Then: Despite the fact he didn't officially retire until 2017, William Regal was all-but-done as a force by the 2011 Royal Rumble. There's no shame in that - he'd been wrestling since 1983 and had survived personal hell to become one of the best characters on TV at the turn of the millennium.

Willie lasted four mins in the Rumble though.

Now: Regal has reinvented himself as a talent scout, ambassador and all-round respected gentleman in WWE's system. He's still the main on screen authority figure for NXT, and performs the role with aplomb. Simply put, he's wonderful at his job.
