5. Batista Wins The Royal Rumble
http://youtu.be/iIxnZuW7cI8 In what was probably the most obvious outcome of the entire PPV, Batista was crowned the Royal Rumble winner. He entered the match at #28, made a few key eliminations, and then went one on one against Roman Reigns before eliminating him to win it all. And therein lies a new, huge problem for WWE: Roman Reigns was unquestionably the bigger fan favorite of this showdown. The crowd cheered for him as he hit his signature moves, and they booed Batista out of the building when he eliminated Reigns to win the match and earn the right to go to Wrestlemania XXX to challenge for the world title. Reigns has a ton of potential and is on the path to become a true Superstar, but this was supposed to be a huge return for Batista and the fans have already seemingly turned against him. How does the WWE now proceed with Batista since there appears to be a growing backlash against him? The most certainly want him to be a face during this run and return to WWE, but the fans seem to have other plans. Marvel has a ton riding on Batista as one of their main stars in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy movie, and so they certainly want him to be one of the top and most popular guys during this run with WWE. The fans are turning on Batista, and this is certainly NOT what WWE has had in mind for him as part of his big comeback.
