6. The Big Push
Most Rumbles will involve someone getting the start of a big push. The Rumble let's someone get a shot at the title at the greatest show of them all, and even if they don't win the Rumble an impressive performance can start to change a career.
The Must Happen: Roman Reigns. I don't think anyone will be surprised by this entry, Reigns seems to have had a rocket strapped to him for the last couple of months. Reigns being in the Final Four of the Rumble would surprise no one. It's almost certainly too early to give Roman the win this year, but a really strong showing, possibly with a clash with some of his current colleagues in the Shield, just teasing that break up even further. If the 'E play this right Reigns could have a stellar start to his 2014. I'd personally like to see Reigns start this push by eliminating one of the real big names in the Rumble, hopefully starting a singles feud with a genuine main eventer. He's already butted heads with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, so maybe Reigns eliminating the returning Batista would be a great start to Reigns rise to the top.
The Could Happen: The Miz. The Miz had a stinker in 2013. A complete failure of a face turn which was then compounded with what might be the most lacklustre feud of the year against Kofi Kingston, doing nothing for either of them. That being said The Miz is going no where, he is far too important a player for them in terms of his marketing ability, his photogenic looks and main stream media appearances. I know a lot of people will hate this sentiment; but I really think the Miz has a part to play in WWE. Only, in my eyes, as the most easily hate-able of heels. The Rumble would be a great place to start a return to the obnoxious jackass who won the WWE title. The Miz has corporate stooge written all over him, so don't be surprised to see him doing "what's best for business."
