WWE Royal Rumble 2014: 7 Superstars Most Likely To Win

1. CM Punk

Cm Punk Best Except, maybe, for this man. 434 days as the WWE Champion. After his worked shoot promo in 2011 and subsequent victory over John Cena for the WWE Championship (which seems to be a pretty good way to make people main eventers in WWE) at Money in the Bank that year, Punk was set for his career as a top star in WWE. And like Daniel Bryan, he has never won a Royal Rumble, which makes it very likely that he will eventually win one. Most top stars have this victory in their careers at least once. After the Authority storyline started at Summerslam, Punk was embroiled in a feud against his former manager, Paul Heyman, which kept him away from conflict with Triple H and Stephanie. Considering his anti-establishment and anti-authority behavior on screen, it was just a matter of time until he finally collided with the new bosses, a feud that started when CM Punk was attacked by the Shield, and since then it has been heavily hinted that the Authority had something to do with it. Because of that, Punk is involved in the company's most important current angle, and thus it's even more likely that he may be involved with the Undisputed Championship, which makes him a candidate to win the 2014 Royal Rumble and be involved in one of the most important matches of this decade. Although Punk has said in previous occasions that he will retire early, he will definitely stay around for at least a couple more years, and it's a big possibility that the Best in the World will erase his loss in the Royal Rumble last year by winning the main event this year and taking the Undisputed Championship home. The Royal Rumble is always one of the most anticipated matches of the year, and this year it's not going to be different. I put CM Punk and Daniel Bryan one level above the rest of the possible candidates, but one important detail to remember is that anything can happen. The only thing we're sure of is that the Rumble will be full of excitement, some nice moments with the returns of legends, and that the winner will be part of the main event of WrestleMania XXX. Let's hope that the winner is a talented individual who can work a great feud for the Road to WrestleMania and a great match, and that the main event of WrestleMania XXX is a memorable and iconic moment led to by the 2014 Royal Rumble.
