WWE Royal Rumble 2014: Predicting 30 Superstars Who Will Appear

The No-Chancers

Let€™s not beat around the bush; a good majority of the entrants will be filler talent that haven€™t the slightest chance in hell of winning. These are the guys that will be tossed out within minutes of even entering the squared circle and whose jobs are solely to make others look strong... 30. The Great Khali With WWE set to get behind big men again in 2014 and the "giant spot" being a tradition at Royal Rumble, it is expected that Khali will once again feature in the Rumble match. Khali is one of the best paid wrestlers on the WWE roster, so the Rumble match is a fitting way to get some value out of his contract. 29. Jack Swagger Having been a Wrestlemania championship challenger last year, Jack Swagger will be pushed as a strong threat in the Royal Rumble this year. In truth he has no chance. Swagger was a miserable failure in his attempted main event push, he will spend most of the Rumble simply making up the numbers. 28. The Big Show As was the case in 2003, Big Show vs Lesnar will probably open the show, allowing both men to enter the Rumble later in the night. Big Show in the Rumble is a safe choice. He allows for a few big man spots and is booked as a perennial threat throughout the Rumble years. However, he has almost no chance of winning - particularly after only drawing 179,000 buys at Survivor Series in his last main event run. 27. Santino Santino may be a lowbrow comedy act but his Royal Rumble moments are nearly always memorable. Damn, he even came runner-up a few years ago. Expect some comedy shenanigans. 26. Brodus Clay WWE have recently re-packaged Brodus but it just feels too little too late for his character. He'll be in the Rumble but he'll be a non-event. You'll forget he was even in it. 25. Fandango Fandango is living proof that just because your gimmick begins hot doesn€™t mean you€™re a star forever. He€™s been floating around the mid-card for the longest time without propelling himself upwards. If anything he has regressed in power rankings but he€™s a shoe-in for some decent Rumble time. Winning is simply another story. 24. Damien Sandow Damien Sandow is another one of those guys that WWE seemingly has no clear direction for. Seriously, how do you book someone to win Money In The Bank and have them lose upon cashing in? He assuredly won€™t win the Rumble but he€™ll definitely get some work in. 23. Goldust First off, it really is awesome seeing Goldust back in action, and as a Tag Team Champion alongside his little brother Cody Rhodes. It€™s one of those feel good scenarios that transcends your emotional investment into the legacy of professional wrestling. With that said, he€™ll enter the Rumble alongside Cody for some teamwork but realistically has no shot at winning.
