WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 10 New Records It Could Create

5. Quickest Royal Rumble Elimination (Curtis Axel)

Santino Marella set an unfortunate record in 2009 when Kane threw him out of the ring only 1.9 seconds after his entrance. The previous record - Warlord's two-second elimination in 1989 - was just edged out, making Marella the quickest toss-out in match history. It's a tricky record to break, given how precise the timing needs to be for such a quick elimination, but it's always a possibility. If it were to happen this year, the most likely candidate would be one of the Social Jobbers (er, Misfits) - probably Curtis Axel, given how long he bragged about having never been eliminated from last year's match.
