WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 10 New Records It Could Create

4. Longest Time Between Royal Rumble Wins (Triple H, Brock Lesnar)

While there are five men in history who have won multiple Royal Rumbles, their victories have typically been close together - after all, most superstars don't remain at the top of the card for years and years. Batista, who returned to WWE in early 2014 and immediately won the Royal Rumble match, is the exception to the rule - his previous win came in 2005, leaving nine years between victories. This year, two superstars could outdo Batista's achievement in main-event longevity - Brock Lesnar (who won in 2003) and Triple H (who won in 2002) are the two wrestlers most favored to win this year's match. Either man's victory would create a span of more than a dozen years, breaking Batista's record.
